Miss Universe 2007

image from maplejuice.com
And they proclaimed the winner: Ms. Riyo Mori of Japan
When the top 15 were called, I have a hunch that Tanzania would win for she was confident and I think her smile is elegant :3 Bald beauty! Then I also hoped that Korea or Japan would be one of the winners. HAHA. Asian pride. Also USA because she's beautiful and considering the fact that she loves to serve other people.

The swimsuit competition was kind of boring. HAHA. Because as usual, they wore the same bikini's. I liked the evening gown competition. The best gown for me was Japan's. It's elegant and it looks so comfortable that you can move around. I want that kind of gown :3 Also in this part, USA slipped. Though she managed to stand up and smile like a pro. However many seems to dislike her. They were BOOing her in the Q&A. That was rude.

Ms. Philippnes was given the award of Ms. Photogenic. Well I don't know if her photo in NBC.com is gorgeous for I did not saw it. However to be honest, her apperance in television isn't that pretty. I remember what the previous Ms. Universe Ms. Photogenic (and that was Ms. Philippines) winner said about Filipinos regarding this award "Maraming Pilipinong mahilig mag internet". Nevertheless, congratulations :)

So that ends this year's Ms. Universe.
Sa uulitin po :)
P.S :: I hope for Mr. Universe >:)

Oh My College and the Life

I went to school awhile ago to get an application form for UP. I went alone :3 My mom does not want to go with me so I went alone. I rode the tricycle. HAHA. See I can do it alone.

I know it's going to be tough since I don't trust my GWA during the past 3 years in high school. UP considers the GWA and the Entrance exam at the same time.

I would be choosing UP Manila as my first choice, since there's no nursing course in Dilliman. If I was to choose Dilliman, I'm not sure what course to take. Well Journalism would be fine, but I know the life after that would be tricky. Same as for the course of Creative Writing and the like. Also the courses regarding Arts. I'll go on to pick a course that I can most probably do, and that's nursing. I'm not good in math or in business, though I'm also thinking about Management to take in other schools. Bleh. HAHA.

By the way, this does not mean that I don't like writing, not taking a course that I want does not mean I can't be good at it anymore. Who cares? It's just a course. Some people are buisiness personalities and they did not even study for that. HA! They did it because they feel like doing it. And it's your best when you are not pushed to do so :3

Anyhow, I would take a regional campus as my second campus choice. Most probably UP Baguio. I'll see later on, as long as the course related to medicine is available in the regional campus. If ever I pass (sheesh) UPCAT but the cut-off grade for UP Manila is not reached, but the regional campus is, then I'll go to the regional campus. Stay there for 6 months up to a year then transfer to Manila. HAHA. But if I was given other choices, like if I pass other schools with nursing, then I would not go to the regional campus.

Other schools that I would try are : Ateneo -- since it's the school that's nearest to our house. UST/FEU/Trinity -- Nursing is available. Miriam College -- required. In Ateneo I'll go for Management (without Honors). MC I will try Entrepreneurship. In addition, I would also like to study in First Academy in Makati. Web Page Designing, so I can free lance because they'll give a certificate :3 I like Graphic Design, but I'll go to where I think I am better.

Right now I'm not really sure what the heck will happen to me.
But I don't care. HAHA. Because now, I am going to be more serious -- yet someone who does not forget to have fun. I really don't have bongacious plans for my life. Just a simple one in which I can always play, hang out with my friends and family and write :3 Well frankly I want money, but money could be in your hands while having fun. Right? HAHA. Just be yourself, express your own identity, go for what you think you are good at and, no matter how desperate hardship is, you'll definitely beat the crap out of it. AJA!

I want to experience different things in life. Even working! I like to work in different places. A tourist guide would be fun :3 HAHA. Or anything! Well probably... not being a maid... or a babysitter. HAHA! Whoops, guess there are things excluded.

Nonetheless you get the point right?!
I'm just going to have fun.

SCRC

Today was the last day of my review for the entrance exam/s for college. They have given me a hint of what college would be. Out of several teachers, only one striked me the most and it is Ms. Xedric (or Ms. X). I like her because her style is different from the others. She communicates with the students in a very friendly way. She uses foul words but those are to give humorous emphasis on the subjects she is talking about. Another unique thing about her is that she shares her knowledge when she touches a subject that she could expound more with the fact/s she knows. I bet she loves to read. English major pare; halata haha. She had also given lots of advices, unlike the other teachers. If more teachers would be like her, I bet many students would love, and really love to listen and study.

Moving on, my classmates. During the first session I first met someone from St. Mary's. At that point I know I won't get along well with them. At the 2nd or maybe 3rd session I learned about my schoolmate in MCHS, Alyzza. After some time we learned about Kilsey, Juliet, Hannah and Nadine. They are all fun to be with. We made fun with our "barok" teacher and we share jokes and all. I am greatful to them. Furthermore, I also like their attitude; break time is fun and gags as in they all talk and the like; but when it's time to study, they shut up and study :D Well except when the teacher is damn boring .... haha.

The fact that we will take CET's is like an alarm clock, waking us up and telling "Hey look it's time for college!" And it's one turning point we all would undergo.

Well then,
Good Luck to batch 2007 entrance test/s examinees!

Got nothing to say. Really.

I haven't been blogging for a while and that's not something new. I really don't have lots to talk about. HAHA. But anyway, I'm here so most probably I'll just start blabbing.

I regret that I wasn't able to join my choir-mates as they went to Ilocos. I really missed a lot! That was the meaning of summer, getting out of the house and enjoying yourself. I have not yet been in a place that is rural like. HAHA. I was even planning of taking lots, and I mean LOTS, of photos. I want to experiment with our camera! Our camera does not always have batteries that's why I can't use it. I'll suggest to my parents to buy rechargeable batteries. Furthermore, we don't have USB in our computer. Our computer is VERY old, that's why you can't expect any USB port or memory chip slot. That's why I am looking forward for the new computer they said that they will buy.

My days just get fun when me and my brother play badminton outside our house. Otherwise, everything is boring. I try to draw in photoshop, but I always get frustrated because using a mouse sucks.

Oh the crappyness. HAHA.

P.S. : Nelson I still can't go to your blog. "Geocities is taking long to respond" HAHA.That's what it says. Sorry 'bout that T__T

P.S.S : I lost my phone! So to everyone who has my number, feel free to delete it. I have a new one. IM me in YM to know. HAHA.

Idioma

Illusion

Time isn't precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you percieve as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now... The more you are focused on time -- past and future -- the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.
--Eckhart Tolle

Upon reading this, it has strike me. I have been confused about what will happen to me in the future, almost everyday, and it really hurts when I think about failing and all the negative thoughts. However, I really miss happenings that will never happen to me again: the happenings of the present. I think too much about the entrance tests that I will make, my course, my job, living independently, all in all -- facing life alone.

Maybe I should really take one day at a time and learn what I got to learn during the day.
Well still thinking of the future, but not being trapped in my future.
